Lessons Policy

Time

Lessons are offered weekly, although other arrangements can be made. Each one is half an hour long.

Price

Lessons are $10 each, paid monthly in advance. This price does not include books or materials such as flash-cards.

Missed/Cancelled Lessons

If you will be late, sick, or have to miss a lesson for any reason, please let the teacher know as soon as you can. We will try our best to reschedule you for that week, or get you a refund for the lesson you missed. If you don’t show up after 15 minutes into your lesson time, we will assume that you could not make it. There will be no reschedules or refunds for no-shows. You may have up to two make up lessons per semester, after this if you must cancel, we will try to reschedule, but we will not be able to provide a refund. All make-up lessons will be on Friday afternoons.

Lessons are held in the Watson house. For directions, click "The Location," on the left.

Student Age/Skill Level

MW Piano Studio focuses on beginners, from the first through about the third year, depending on the student. Right now, we do not offer lessons to adults or high-school age students.

Parent Involvement

Each lesson is one-on-one, teacher with student. Parents of children, especially young ones, are encouraged to attend lessons and help the students practice throughout the week.
