C. L. Hanon's book of sixty exercises "for the acquirement of agility, independence, strength, and perfect evenness in the fingers, as well as suppleness of the wrist," is a classic for piano students. It was composed in the nineteenth century; the edition below was first published before 1923 and therefore its copyright (even after renewal) has expired.
